Comfort H/S™ Bite Splints
The Comfort H/S™ Hard Soft Bite Splint is a splint designed to alleviate the pain and damage caused by severe bruxing or clenching of the teeth. It is the most widely prescribed bite splint due to its comfort and fit. Two layers make up the Comfort H/S Bite Splint: a 1 mm soft polyurethane inner layer and a 3 mm hard copolyester outer layer. The soft internal surface rests comfortably against the teeth and gums, while the hard occlusal surface provides durability and bonds with acrylic for easy modification.
Each Comfort H/S Bite Splint is made with a standard flat occlusal plane and slight opposing cusp indentation or to your specific bite plane needs. They are fabricated from ISO-certified ERKODENT® copolyester and polyurethane discs, which are BPA-free and non-allergenic, making them ideal for patients who are allergic to acrylics or metals. PlaySafe® Mouthguards
Laboratory-made PlaySafe® Sports Mouthguards are prescribed for both professional and amateur athletes because they offer the highest level of protection during sports activity. When worn properly, they can prevent dental trauma, such as fractured teeth. They are also indicated for patients with an orthodontic situation, such as braces, who must wear a mouthguard for preventive measures.
PlaySafe Sports Mouthguards provide superior fit and retention compared to boil-and-bite mouthguards. Available in six levels of protection, the mouthguards range from one to three layers of laminated ethylvinylacetate material with a final occlusal thickness between 3 mm and 5 mm. PlaySafe mouthguards can be customized with stickers and team logos, and are available in a variety of colors to fit the personality of every star athlete in your practice!
